Michigan International Auto Show Rolls in to GR One Week From Today

Grand Rapids New Car Dealers Association Presents 8th Annual Michigan
International Auto Show - February 2-5, 2006 at DeVos Place

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich) - Eight years ago, the Grand Rapids New Car Dealers
Association and ShowSpan Inc., teamed up to create what has become the most
widely attended annual event in Grand Rapids. The Michigan International
Auto Show runs February 2-5, 2006 at DeVos Place.

"This year's show will feature an exceptional display of the finest vehicles
from GM, Ford, Dodge and Chrysler, as well as those from Volkswagon, Saturn
and other manufacturers - more than 30 in all," says Donn Eurich, Executive
Director of the Grand Rapids New Car Dealers Association (GRNCDA), "We'll
see a particular interest in hybrid vehicles, which are generating a buzz in
the industry because of their environmentally-friendly efforts."

John Leese, President of GRNCDA says guests will find even more of the
newest models, pre-production models and concept cars than ever before,
including the new Tahoe and Aveo from Chevy and the '07 Caliber and Aspen
from Chrysler. "The Michigan International Auto Show is an opportunity for
the new car dealers in Grand Rapids to showcase their finest vehicles and
provide the general public with a pressure-free environment to look at their
next car," says Leese. "We've worked very hard with ShowSpan over the past
eight years to create an event which garners the respect not only of the
consumers, but of the auto industry as well. I think we've succeeded - even
exceeded - that goal this year."

The Auto Show once again kicks off with "The Miracle Tour" Gala, hosted by
the Grand Rapids Press, on Wednesday February 1. Net proceeds from this $100
per person "black-tie optional" event benefit the Children's Miracle Network
at DeVos Children's Hospital. Attendees receive a sneak preview of the
entire Auto Show and all of its special features. They're also treated to a
sampling fine food from the chefs at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and enjoy
special entertainment. Nearly 2000 guests are expected to attend, making it
the largest annual Gala event in Grand Rapids.

"Each year, I look forward to this night on the town," says Leese, who
chairs the Gala committee. "The Gala continues to be the 'must-attend' party
- the event to be seen at - in West Michigan."

More than 35 car manufacturers from around the world will bring their finest
traveling displays to the Michigan International Auto Show, where more than
300 new vehicles - including sedans, vans, SUVs, trucks, hybrids and sports
cars - will be showcased with factory representatives on hand to answer any
questions. Concept cars and pre-production models give a glimpse into the
future.

Attendees can also enjoy what has become a Grand Rapids tradition: the
"Million Dollar Motorway," a special display of vehicles with a retail price
of $100,000-plus. "This year we feature Aston Martin's Vanquish S - one of
only 100 being hand-made and the Lamborghini Gallardo, among others" says
Henri Boucher, Show Producer and Vice President at ShowSpan Inc. Also
returning this year is the Gilmore Car Museum from Hickory Corners, with 9
vintage vehicles, including a 1903 Columbia Electra, a 1931 Pierce-Arrow
Cabriolet and a 1970 Dodge Challenger.

The 8th Annual Michigan International Auto Show is presented by the Grand
Rapids New Car Dealers Association and is one of 12 expositions produced by
ShowSpan Inc., Grand Rapids, Michigan. Founded in 1945, ShowSpan - a John D.
Loeks, Jr., Company - has grown to be one of the largest producers of
consumer shows in the Midwest.
