According to the terms of the agreement reached during the fourth quarter of 2005, Corcentric has created and is maintaining an Internet-based portal that enables Pronto Members to perform electronic transactions with suppliers without changing their existing IT systems or business processes in place today. Members will have electronic visibility of their orders throughout the entire fulfillment process. Online business transactions with suppliers will also cut back on the amount of time spent per transaction. Many companies today are taking full advantage of technological advancements to remain a competitor in their industry and Corcentric has earnestly gained its portion of the market.
"Pronto Members now have supply chain management tools that were once exclusive to large national retail and distribution companies. Having worked with Corcentric in the past, we are confident in their ability to help Pronto Members compete in today's market," stated Michael Mitchell, Pronto Director of Supply Chain Management.
"Corcentric is pleased to provide its services to National Pronto Association and as always we are dedicated to exceeding the client's needs. We have yet another opportunity to assist a company in running more efficiently. Time is money and the Corcentric system conserves both," stated Dave Lindeen, Vice President Sales, Corcentric.
