Johnson Controls Announces Quarterly Dividend

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 25, 2006 -- The Directors of Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) today authorized a regular quarterly cash dividend of $.28 per common share. The dividend is payable March 31, 2006 to shareholders of record March 10, 2006.

Johnson Controls has paid consecutive dividends since 1887.
