Robert P. Soulliere Appointed President & CEO of Auto Supplier ThyssenKrupp Budd Company

TROY, Mich., Jan. 23, 2006 -- Robert P. Soulliere has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of ThyssenKrupp Budd Company, a leading supplier to the automotive industry.

Soulliere previously served as Chief Operating Officer of ThyssenKrupp Budd and President of the company's Body Sector. Soulliere joined Fabco in 1978, a Windsor, Ontario, Canada-based subsidiary which produces metal stampings, stamped and tubular assemblies. He held various management positions over the years including serving as President and CEO of ThyssenKrupp Fabco.

Soulliere is a graduate of the University of Detroit's Master of Business Administration Program.

He and his wife reside in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

ThyssenKrupp Budd Company, with headquarters in Troy, Mich., produces body systems from sheet metal and sheet molding compound, chassis frames and modules, medium and heavy metal stampings, welded products, assemblies and systems as well as tubular fabrications. The company operates 23 facilities and employs approximately 6,000 people throughout North America.
