More Than 600 DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Employees Ready to Make a Lasting Impression on Two Dallas Neighborhoods

* Massive Renovation of Two Social Service Facilities Being Directed and Coordinated by Hands On North Texas, a Program of the Volunteer Center of North Texas, along with Dallas Catholic Charities

* The Saner Child Development Center and Neuhoff Senior Center, both at Marillac in West Dallas, plus the Cross Family Center in South Dallas, Receiving Makeover From Employees Demonstrating the Company's Core Value of Social Responsibility this Wednesday, January 25

WHAT: Approximately 500 employees from DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas will spend an afternoon at the Saner Child Development Center at Marillac and the Neuhoff Senior Center at Marillac, renovating the interior of the building, including 11 classrooms and offices so the Center can re-open within a month. More than 600 children and seniors who use the center will benefit from the employees' efforts. The Center has been closed since last April.

WHEN: Wednesday, January 25, Program 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Prime time for TV, Print, Radio interviews, B-roll, Photography will be 2 - 3:45 p.m.

OTHER: During the exact same time, approximately 120 employees of the company's Mercedes-Benz Financial business unit will be at the Cross Family Center, 4906 Bonnie View Road, 75241 in South Dallas, Phone (214) 375-0133. Employees will be re-opening a computer lab by installing computers and building desks. Other Mercedes-Benz Financial employees will make general improvements to the Center's Great Room and classrooms while other employees will help in the Center's food pantry. This action will help more than 300 families who receive financial assistance at the Cross Center each year.
