Autoweb Acquires UK-Based Datranet Limited
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Jan. 23, 2006 -- Autoweb Inc., a NTT Com Group company and a global provider of engineering data management services for the automotive and aerospace industries, has acquired Datranet Limited.
Based in the United Kingdom, Datranet is a developer of product-design communication and collaboration solutions. Effective immediately, Datranet will do business as Autoweb Ltd.

This acquisition provides customers of both organizations with a single interface to globally communicate with their business partners via industry standards, including Autoweb and the Odette File Transfer Protocol (OFTP/ENGDAT).
