PPG Directors Set Dividend

PITTSBURGH--Jan. 19, 2006--The board of directors of PPG Industries today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 47 cents a share, payable March 10 to shareholders of record Feb. 17, 2006.

PPG has increased shareholder payments for 34 consecutive years, paying uninterrupted dividends since 1899.
