ADP Claims Services Group Acquires 100 Percent Interest in Stellix Body Shop Management System from Akzo Nobel

Promises Continued Innovation and Superior Support for Stellix Shop Management System Customers

SAN RAMON, Calif., Jan. 19 -- ADP and Akzo Nobel today jointly announced that ADP has acquired 100 percent of Business Management Services, LLC, a joint venture. ADP and Akzo Nobel formed Business Management Services to create Stellix(R), an industry-leading automotive shop management system.

The agreement will not affect Stellix customers. Prior to the agreement, ADP was entirely responsible for providing service and support to repair shops using the Stellix system. ADP has also been the principal technology developer for the Stellix platform.

"The Stellix Body Shop Management System is a core component of our complete offering for the automotive claims industry," said Daphne Li, vice president of Marketing for ADP Claims Services Group. "We plan to continue to enhance and support the Stellix platform, ensuring that it continues to be an invaluable tool that enables repair shops to manage their businesses more efficiently and profitably."

Stellix is a powerful, yet user-friendly shop management system that gives repair shops better control of their entire operation. It provides tools that make it easy to analyze and manage critical areas such as workflow, parts management and shop profitability. Stellix improves shop performance by reducing cumbersome manual processes and streamlining operations.
