Two Kia vehicles named "most delightful" in 2005 by Strategic Vision

(SEOUL) January 19, 2006 -- The Kia Amanti (also known as ¡®Opirus¡¯ in some markets) received the ¡°Most Delightful Vehicle of 2005¡± award for the large car segment from Strategic Vision, Inc. (SVI), a San Diego-based research firm. Additionally, the Kia Spectra (also known as ¡®Cerato¡¯ in some markets) shared top honors for the same award in the small car segment, along with the Volkswagen Jetta. ¡°We¡¯re pleased that Strategic Vision has bestowed yet another honor upon the Kia brand,¡± said Len Hunt, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Kia Motors America (KMA). ¡°It serves as added proof that our entire line of vehicles is instilling a feeling of pride and passion among Kia owners.¡± The Kia Amanti received the same award in 2004. Strategic Vision measures the experience of approximately 90,000 new vehicle owners annually. The survey has been done since 1996.
