Keswick, Ontario team in Florida for Winter Tour

January 18, 2006 - Keswick, Ontario - Reid Racing, home of the 2005 Sunoco Ron Fellows Canada Junior Light Champion Reid Arnold, is pleased to announce the launch of their new web site www.reidracing.ca . The team has scheduled the launch to coincide with the 10-year old Keswick, Ontario native’s first appearance on the Florida Winter Tour where he will compete in the Mini Max class.

Reid Racing was looking for a way to actively promote Reid’s 2005 success and at the same time, provide a place for fans, friends and sponsors to follow his racing efforts through 2006. “We were rewarded with a fantastic 2005 season,�?? noted Team Manager Anne Arnold, “and with high hopes for 2006, it was important to be able to give our sponsors and fans where an avenue where they could get the news quickly, especially when the team is on the road. A web site would allow us to update almost immediately after each event.�??  Reid Racing worked with Chris Jameson of Level Ten Communications to build and manage a site that will meet their information and news needs.

Reid (#23 Gold Kart) competed in 48 races last year compiling an impressive 31 podiums and finishing out of the top five only six times. Reid completed every lap of all 48 races and finished out of the top ten only once. In 2006 the team is considering future possibilities and Reid will be racing in the Mini Max class in the Florida Winter Tour as his introduction to 2-cycle racing. The Reid Racing crew left for the first event in Homestead, Florida  immediately following the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship banquet last Sunday (15th) where Reid received his champions trophy.

In 2005 Reid also took home two OKRA Bears and won the class championship at the Innisfil Kart Club.
