CGT Signs Agreement with CG-OMNOVA in Shanghai, China

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario, Jan. 18, 2006 -- Canadian General-Tower Limited (CGT), North America's leading supplier of automotive interior coverstock, announces it has signed a manufacturing agreement with CG-OMNOVA Decorative Products (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (CGO). CGO is an established vinyl films manufacturer with broad capabilities and a strong record for quality that will provide CGT with a local source of supply to produce their automotive coverstock in China.

The long-term arrangement will allow CGT to meet current demand for their products in Asia and provide the opportunity to enhance their business in the fastest growing automotive market in the world. Product trials are in progress at the CGO plant in China and production is targeted to begin in mid-2006.
