Chili Bowl Wrap-Up
Moorpark, Calif. - (January 19, 2006) World of Outlaws Late Model Series
regular Tim “T-Mac�?? McCreadie surprised open wheel regulars and Chili Bowl
fans alike by taking home the coveted Golden Driller at the 20th annual O’
Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on Saturday night.
McCreadie started in the fifth row outside of NASCAR star Kasey Kahne and
worked his way up to the top stop by the end of the 50-lap feature.
This was only McCreadie’s second Chili Bowl appearance.
Other Ringers notables competing in the “A�?? Main were Tracy Hines, seventh;
Jason Leffler, 14th; Bud Kaeding, 15th; Justin Allgaier, 24th.
Only one of Keith Kunz Motorsports’ cars transferred into the feature and
that was Steve Kinser finishing 12th.
A couple of Ringers’ racers picked up special awards during opening
ceremonies on Saturday night. Darren Stewart and his Harry and Louise Conklin ride
was voted “Best Appearing Car,�?? McCreadie the 2005 Wild Card award and Casey
Shuman, the 2005 Hard Luck Award.
