Acme Auto Leasing Selects Driveitaway's Program for Government Fleet Remarketing

Government Fleet Vehicles Are Very Well-Maintained and Are Subject to Rigorous Usage Restrictions While in Service, Making Them Particularly Attractive to Used Car Buyers

CHICAGO, Jan. 17 -- Driveitaway Inc., the pioneer in upstream remarketing programs for commercial fleet vehicles, announced today that Acme Auto Leasing, LLC of North Haven, CT, will offer the reDrive(SM) remarketing platform to its client base of government fleets.

"We haven't seen anyone else in the industry do exactly what Driveitaway does," said Ben Rosenbloom, Vice President, Business Development for Acme Auto Leasing. "Our typical driver keeps low mileage on the vehicle. So our off- lease stock is generally very appealing to used car buyers. Driveitaway's technology allows us to maximize our return while adding attractive benefits and giving more reason for companies to work with us."

Acme Auto Leasing has been supplying government agencies with vehicles for lease since 1982.

The reDrive brand platform will allow Acme's clients to offer their end- of-lease vehicles for sale to their drivers and fellow employees before they come off lease. Under the program, fleet managers realize substantially better net proceeds compared to traditional remarketing channels, and buyers can purchase at close-to-wholesale prices. With reDrive, prospective buyers can view comprehensive online information about each vehicle, including a third party inspection report with multiple pictures and a full maintenance history.

"Whether government or non-government fleets, our platform allows auto leasing companies to streamline their business and make a profit doing it," said John Possumato, Vice Chairman and Founder of Driveitaway.
