Chase's Custom Finance Joins Manheim's Retail Auto Financing Program for Independent Dealers
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 17, 2006 -- Chase Auto Finance's Custom Finance business has joined the growing list of lenders available on Remarketing Solutions' Dealer Auto Funding Solutions (DAFS) platform that connects independent automobile dealers with major retail financing lenders.
DAFS is a Web-based decision and risk analysis program powered by technology from California-based Bankers Integration Group (BIG). BIG's online auto finance and insurance portal gives dealers the ability to make retail financing decisions in real time and finalize consumer transactions in seconds with a complete tier of national and regional lenders. The program is administered through Manheim's Remarketing Solutions subsidiary, the industry's leading third-party provider of recovery, inspection, transportation and other remarketing services.
"The addition of Chase Custom Finance is a big step in the national rollout of the DAFS program and in providing independent dealers with the same range of customer financing options that franchise auto dealers have," said Mark Brunn, vice president and general manager for Remarketing Solutions.
"Joining DAFS will help us serve even more independent automobile dealers and their retail customers," said Bill Jensen, head of Chase Custom Finance, which specializes in non- and subprime lending, serving more than 10,000 franchised and independent automobile dealers across the country from 29 offices in key markets.
Among the financial institutions already connected to DAFS are Bank of America, Bay View Acceptance Corporation, Bank of Stockton, Crescent Bank, Fireside Bank, Guaranty Bank, and Nationwide Acceptance Corporation.
Manheim and Remarketing Solutions plan to complete the national rollout of the DAFS program by mid-year.
