Historical Memorabilia On The Market at This Year's `Barrett-Jackson Car Show'

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--Jan. 17, 2006--Do you remember where you were when the Beatles were on "The Ed Sullivan Show"? Well now you can own the very same suits Paul, George, John, and Ringo performed in on that special evening in 1964. Those legendary costumes, along with dozens of other historical items will be for sale this week during the Barrett-Jackson Car Show at WESTWORLD in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Some of the other amazing items featured at the show include: Lou Gehrig's 1935 New York Yankee Contract, Larry Bird's 1974 signed Indiana University letter of intent, a Babe Ruth signed baseball and contract, Frank Sinatra's first signed movie contract, Elvis Presley's signed high school yearbook, and documents signed by our most popular presidents from George Washington, to Abraham Lincoln, to John F. Kennedy.

The items will be on display at the Universal Rarities booth located in space #110 at the show.

"This is one of the finest collections of memorabilia ever assembled," commented Thomas Riccio, Partner at Universal Rarities. When asked what his favorite piece is, Riccio said, "There's so many great pieces from the Albert Einstein signed letter, to James Dean, and Marilyn Monroe signed checks to 'Wizard of Oz', 'Gone with the Wind', and even 'Three Stooges' signed pieces, but I have to say the most awesome piece has to be the Thomas Edison signed Patent for the light bulb. Can there be a more impressive piece of history than that?!"

So how much will a piece of history cost you? "Well most of these items are beautifully framed one-of-a-kind pieces that have proven to be great investments throughout time. We have several pieces starting at $595 including an authentic Titanic relic display piece, all the way up to 1.95 million for The Beatles' used suits," said Riccio.

Universal Rarities will have the items for sale on display at the Barrett-Jackson Car Show this week only, from Tuesday, January 17th, to Sunday, January 22nd.
