The total value of the grant, once matched by other funds available through HEF, is $500,000 and will provide for 50 students' post-secondary education at the rate of 10 students per year over the five years.
HEF will direct the grant to support the Take Stock In Children scholarship program it administers for Hillsborough County Public School students. Once a student is selected to receive a scholarship, he or she must agree to stay in school, maintain good grades, successfully graduate from high school and work with an adult mentor that is provided by the HEF.

HEF's mission measurably changes the lives of children by making a college education an attainable goal," says Don Wallace, Chairman of the Board and Founder of Lazydays.
