UK's Website of the Year 2005: Neverstandstill.com Best Website, Zylom.co.uk Most Popular
ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands, January 17 -- The 2005 winners of the Website of the Year election - UK's most important annual people's choice award - have been elected.
The title 'Best Website of the Year' and 'Most Popular Website of the Year' is granted to owners of sites on a yearly basis. This year 'The Website of the Year election' has also been a great success: the UK audience chose their favourite from 476 websites in 22 categories, ranging from car sites to shopping sites. In total more than 190,000 votes were cast between November 1st and December 31st.
The UK audience chose the dance music site Neverstandstill.com as UK's "Best Website of the Year 2005" due to its highest ratings on content, navigation and design. The online gaming site Zylom.co.uk was chosen by the public as UK's "Most popular website of 2005" with more than 5000 votes.
