Kubota Tractor Corporation Comments on 4CS iWarranty Implementation

EAST MOLINE, Ill., Jan. 16, 2006 -- 4CS, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent warranty software applications, today shares Kubota Tractor's comments on its iWarranty Rollout.

Founded in 1972, Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC), a subsidiary of Kubota Corporation, Japan, is the United States marketer and distributor of Kubota branded equipment. KTC has continued to expand its product array, and is now the leading marketer and distributor of under-40 horsepower tractors in the United States. Kubota has also become a brand leader offering environmentally compatible equipment designed to improve quality of life. Kubota offers a complete line of tractors up to 103 PTO horsepower, performance matched implements, compact construction equipment, consumer lawn and garden equipment, commercial turf products and utility vehicles. Products are available at more than 1000 independent authorized Kubota dealers in the United States. For more information, visit http://www.kubota.com/ .

Jim Ramsdail, Director of Service, shared: "With our dramatic increase in sales over the past 5 years, we saw the need to upgrade our Warranty System to better support our dealers. During our Annual Dealer Meeting, Dealers indicated they are very pleased with the speed and turnaround time with iWarranty claim processing. We are meeting our goals of significantly reducing turnaround time for claims.

"In keeping with Kubota's commitment to Product Reliability and Safety, I am very pleased with the improved capability for our dealers to track their campaign completion status in real time," adds Ramsdail.

"Campaign reporting easily eliminated 10 hours of reporting preparation monthly for campaigns alone. The 'ease of use' of the iWarranty System has resulted in a decline in the need for dealer calls to our Warranty Center," noted Joe O'Reilly, Warranty Manager.

"Other favored features besides campaign management are iWarranty's streamlined parts recall application, the ability to link to other service information, and the picture attachment feature (part of permanent claim record which assists with supplier warranty cost recovery)," adds O'Reilly.

"Our dealers have expressed appreciation for the seamless implementation of the new warranty system. They like the improvement in their ability to edit claims, the ability to save the claim as a draft and track it, and they find the navigation within iWarranty to be much easier than our previous system," O'Reilly says.

"Other benefits for Kubota include more detailed inquiry explanations. The warranty process inherent in iWarranty software makes good sense and is simple and direct. The supplier recovery process is much smoother, as is the handling of internal workflow among the claim processors. Consolidation of functions into one work process (claims, campaigns, customer information, etc) results in more efficiency allowing Kubota to manage an increase in claims (due to increased sales) while maintaining the same staffing levels. Furthermore, 4CS personnel have a great work ethic and professionalism. They diligently worked until the job was done! I would gladly work with them again."

John Nomura, Director of Kubota Information Systems, noted: "iWarranty was integrated seamlessly with SAP applications within Kubota and utilized IBM MQ/WBI. iWarranty fits well with our Kubota architectural standards enabling us to utilize existing infrastructure that supports our business applications."
