Arizona Senator John McCain Scheduled to Keynote

Clean Cities Congress and Expo 2006

Reducing Petroleum Dependence

Affordable Transportation Alternatives Showcased

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVI) today
announced that Arizona Senator John McCain will kick off its international
alternative fuels and advanced vehicle Congress.

"There are very few issues facing the federal government as serious as
dependence on imported oil," said Will Kleindienst, chair of the Clean
Cities Congress and Expo 2006. "John McCain's position in the Senate makes
him ideally situated to provide insight into what the federal government can
do to address energy independence for the United States."

The four-day event, which runs from May 7-10 at the Phoenix Convention
Center, will feature more than 100 speakers with expertise in the fuels,
vehicles and technologies that are affordable, available today, and offer
alternatives to imported petroleum.

Other activities at AFVI's 2006 Congress include:

* Sessions focusing on the business case for biodiesel, ethanol,
compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, hybrids, and propane;

* Experts addressing the financial incentives in the 2005 energy bill for
purchasing vehicles and fuel, and infrastructure development;

* An in-depth fleet tutorial for private and public fleet professionals
requiring an introduction to the market;

* More than 100 exhibitors providing a one-stop shopping marketplace for
alternative fuels and vehicles;

* A Ride-n-Drive featuring the latest vehicles, as well as stationery
displays of new technologies such as idle reduction and hybrid systems.

The cost of the four-day Congress per attendee is $549 (US) through March
24, 2006. Fleet professionals are offered a discounted rate of $399 (US)
per attendee. Rates are good for online registration and go up after March
24. For complete information on registration, pricing and session details,
