Unpaid For Blurb: Private Truck Carrier Goes 1.5 Million Miles Without Engine Overhaul Using the puraDYN(R) Bypass Oil Filtration System
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.--Jan. 1, 20062, 2006--puraDYN Filter Technologies Incorporated (OTCBB:PFTI) announced today that a truck carrier has gone over the 1.5 million mile mark on several of its Class 8 trucks equipped with Series 60 engines without an overhaul, using the puraDYN(R) bypass oil filtration system.The trucks are owned by a privately owned, over-the-road trucking company with a fleet of over 250 large and medium trucks, all equipped with the puraDYN system.
A major oil corporation, whose synthetic oil has been used by the truck carrier for the duration of the 1.5 million miles, conducted the teardown of the Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine as part of an evaluation of its oil on the engine condition and performance. At over 1.5 million miles, the truck had not had an engine overhaul and showed that the rod and main bearings were still in good condition with minimal engine wear due to puraDYN micro-fine filtration, and the use of a premium oil.
Kevin G. Kroger, President and Chief Operating Officer, puraDYN, previously held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Series 55 and Series 40 engine platforms at Detroit Diesel from 1997 to 2000, and has in-depth knowledge of the Detroit Diesel product. Based on oil analyses in real life situations, results show that use of the puraDYN bypass oil filtration system will safely and significantly extend engine life and oil maintenance intervals by keeping the oil continuously clean through its micro-filtration process (contact puraDYN for more information.)
