Heather Kos Named Director of Investor Relations at Navistar

WARRENVILLE, Ill.--Jan. 1, 20062, 2006--Navistar International Corporation announced today the appointment of Heather Kos as director of investor relations.

Kos, 35, joined the company in 1997 and most recently served as director of truck group strategy at International Truck and Engine Corporation, Navistar's operating company. Prior to that, she was director of finance for truck group reporting where she successfully led a number of operating programs involving the company's truck vehicle centers. She has also served as plant controller at the company's Melrose Park, Ill. engine plant. Before she joined International Truck and Engine, Kos held a number of finance positions including a tax consultant role with Price Waterhouse.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting, Kos is a certified public accountant. She earned an MBA from DePaul University.

"We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Heather's hands on experience and working knowledge of the operating aspects of our truck and engine groups to lead the strategic development and execution of the company's investor relations program," said Bill Caton, Navistar executive vice president and incoming chief financial officer. Kos will be working closely with Caton and Terry M. Endsley, Navistar vice president and treasurer, to deliver the company's message to the financial community.
