AutomoBear Magazine Launches

Ann Arbor, MI - January 6th, 2006 - AutomoBear Magazine, a new monthly automotive publication focused on aerodynamics; design; marketing; strategy, and vehicle dynamics, has launched today. The inaugural January 2006 issue, which follows positive test-marketing results over the past few months, can be downloaded as a high-resolution, printable Acrobat/ PDF for $4.99 at www.automobearmag.com.

"A trade whose workings and products are so romanticized should be covered not by peripheral observations sized to fit around advertising, but by as much expertise and exuberance as can be thrown at each issue," said Miro Pacic, Editor of AutomoBear Magazine and AutomoBear.com.

"The print medium is ideal for extending the carefully footnoted work we have offered on AutomoBear.com since April 23rd, 2003," he said.

"For our in-depth research that goes into each article, we are unlike any auto magazine on the stands or on the Internet today," said Richard Deitering, Assistant Editor and Vice-President of Marketing.

"We are dedicated to improving the auto industry, and the understanding of its products," said Deitering.

The first issue of AutomoBear Magazine elects the best full-size pickup truck on the market; analyzes Hyundai's new midsize Sonata, and considers the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse's chances of success while contemplating whether Nissan's Quest minivan has underperformed the market. In addition to tracking the sales of every individual model through charts and analyses, AutomoBear Magazine this month also features fond remembrances of the late John Z. De Lorean, and Sir Alex J. Trotman, both of whom the industry lost last year.

In addition to its initial offering as an electronic download, AutomoBear Magazine can be shipped in printed form for $11.99. The magazine is also increasingly available at select newsstands and bookstores.

AutomoBear Magazine is published by AutomoBear.com, an independent source of incisive automotive commentary for nearly three years. Referenced by BusinessWeek in its May 2nd, 2005 issue, and by the Albany Times Union on November 4th, 2004, AutomoBear.com has placed particular attention on industry research and analysis.
