Hittite Microwave Achieves Automotive Quality Management System Certification

CHELMSFORD, Mass., Jan. 6, 2006 -- Hittite Microwave Corporation today announced it has received its ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification for the design, manufacture, and sale of plastic- encapsulated analog and mixed-signal ICs for RF, microwave and millimeterwave applications for the automotive industry. ISO/TS 16949 is a Quality Management System which specifies automotive industry quality and manufacturing standards that are more stringent then ISO 9001:2000 requirements.

In addition to receiving this new certification, the company was recertified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard, which it has maintained since 1997. The company was audited and certified by TUV Management Service, Munich, Germany.
