SAA Hosts “Beyond Restructuring” Conference Looking into Future of Auto Industry
The Society of Automotive Analysts will host its annual Automotive Outlook Conference on Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center, featuring keynote speaker Jerome B. “Jerry” York, former chief financial officer for both Chrysler Corp. and IBM, and now top deputy to billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian.
The conference entitled, “Beyond the Restructuring: Will It Deliver a Sustainable Automotive Industry?” will cover a host of issues, including but not limited to: Economic Forces Driving the North American Vehicle Market, How to Commercialize Innovation for Market Position and Profit, and a discussion on The New Form of Collaboration in the Automobile Industry.
Chief Economists from the Detroit Three are also on the agenda. Registration for the conference is $495 for SAA members, $595 for non-members, and free of charge for members of the media.
