REGI U.S., Inc. Obtains Patent Application from Radian Inc.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--Dec. 27, 2005--REGI U.S., Inc. (OTCBB:RGUS) (BCN:RGJ) has successfully completed an agreement to obtain the rights to the RadMax technology preliminary patent application, the RadMax trademark, including study notes, drawings and parts list from Radian Inc.In exchange for these property rights, REGI will provide an unconditional release to Radian for all obligations under the UAV license agreement dated April 24, 2002 and modified May 1, 20064, 2004.
John Robertson, President of REGI U.S., Inc., states, "Completing this agreement will allow REGI to own 100% interest in the rights to the new RadMax rotary design. Radian agrees to provide all the work completed to date, including preliminary patent applications and all hardware."
REGI is in the testing stage for the 42 H.P. diesel engine, which is being supervised by our rotary engine specialist. Several defense contractors have expressed interest in testing the 42 H.P. diesel engine for an unmanned aerial application.
