Barrett-Jackson to Gather Largest Collection of Hemis Ever Offered at No Reserve

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--Dec. 20, 2005--The Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. will welcome 33 extraordinary Hemi muscle cars, all available at no reserve, during their 35th anniversary celebration event on Jan. 14, 2006-22, 2006, at WestWorld. The collection of Mopars includes stars like a 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T, a 1971 Hemi Cuda hardtop and an ultra-rare 1970 Hemi Cuda convertible.

"We're exceptionally proud of the 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertible that is one of only 14 built," stated Craig Jackson, president of The Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. "It would be the gem of any collector's stable. Clad in the bright 'High Impact Vitamin C' color, it is a dazzling car. We've also attracted other significant Mopar such as Cuda coupes and one of only two Dodge Hemi Coronet R/T's in the world."

The matching numbers 1970 Plymouth Cuda convertible comes complete with the original 426 c.i.d. Hemi and is the only Vitamin C-colored Cuda convertible ever built. The Barrett-Jackson team decoded the cars and verified all documentation, which will be transferred to the winning bidder.

The 1967 Dodge Hemi Coronet R/T convertible is perhaps the most unusual Hemi powered cars ever offered at a Barrett-Jackson event. Two more Hemi Cuda coupes will also roll across the auction block.
