OMNOVA Solutions Signs Agreement to Produce OEM Automotive Upholstery for Canadian General Tower

FAIRLAWN, Ohio, Dec. 20, 2005 -- OMNOVA Solutions announced that the company and its China joint venture have signed a long-term manufacturing agreement with Canadian General Tower (CGT) for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) automotive seating applications. OMNOVA will manufacture the upholstery at CG-OMNOVA Decorative Products (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., its joint venture facility in Shanghai, China.

This is OMNOVA Solutions' first major contract for the OEM automotive seating market, although the company currently serves the automotive aftermarket with its BoltaSoft(R) line of upholstery.
