Save the Date; AAA to Release Analysis Showing Teen Driver Crashes More Deadly for Other Road Users Than Teen Driver; AAA to Focus Advocacy Efforts on Strengthening Teen Driver Laws
--AAA:WHAT: AAA will release new information on the effects teen driver crashes have on other road users. In the first analysis of its kind, the report investigates the number of other persons, besides teen drivers, who have died in crashes involving novice teen drivers. The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety analyzed ten years of crash data and identified all fatal crashes involving 15-, 16-, and 17-year-old drivers of passenger vehicles. The report will show the greater toll teen driver crashes have on other road users including the teen driver's passenger, other motorists and even pedestrians. WHO: Robert L.
