Nissan invites Chinese dealers to sell Infiniti cars

BEIJING December 20, 2005; Japan Today reported that Nissan Motor Co on Monday began inviting car dealers in China to sell cars under the Infiniti line in its first step to launch the luxury brand there, the company said. Chinese retail outlets are expected to begin doing so by the end of 2007, it added.

The major Japanese automaker wants dealerships in China's major metropolitan areas including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to carry the brand.
