Force Protection Industries' State-of-the-Art Web Site; Garners Praise, Popularity During 2005

LADSON, S.C.--Dec. 1, 20059, 2005--Leading specialty armored vehicle manufacturer Force Protection, Inc. (OTCBB:FRPT), whose products have been in use by U.S. and Coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan for more than two years, has won substantial critical and popular success for its cutting-edge Web site during 2005.

From a video gallery featuring clips from recent media coverage to a state-of-the-art financial services page, the Force Protection Web site has received more than 157,618 unique hits in the past year, with a daily average of 581 hits. On August 29, 2005 alone, the Web site was visited more than 9,500 times.

"The Web site has served as an invaluable portal into the activities, developments, and successes of Force Protection," said Vice President Michael Aldrich. "We have sought diligently to make it a one-stop source for information that will be valuable to customers, company shareholders, the media, and the public in general."

In addition to its popularity, the site has been lauded for its technical composition and creativity. In January 2005, the Charleston Advertising Federation recognized www.forceprotection.net with Gold Addy awards for copywriting and its value as a business-to-business Web site. It was also nominated on the regional level for the same awards.

"The intended objective of the site from the start was to make it a user-friendly, engaging resource that would effectively highlight the vehicles built by Force Protection and communicate our mission to the world," said Aldrich. "We're pleased to see this objective come to fruition."

Force Protection has worked with Washington, DC public relations firm Policy Impact Communication, Inc. and Charleston, SC-based Web designer Blue Ion, LLC in the development and management of the site.

"Working with first-rate service providers like Policy Impact and Blue Ion has added a tremendous level of innovation to the site," added Aldrich. "Bringing their creativity and expertise to bear gives Force Protection a world-class Internet resource while enabling us to focus entirely on our core mission: to supply our armed forces with the finest blast- and ballistic-protected vehicles possible."
