puraDYN System Now Being Installed by One of the Largest U.S. Suppliers of Construction Aggregates; Joint Test Conducted With a Major Oil Company
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.--Dec. 1, 20056, 2005--puraDYN Filter Technologies Incorporated (OTCBB:PFTI) announced today that one of the top ten suppliers of construction aggregates in the United States has begun installation of the puraDYN(R) bypass oil filtration system and the Rentar(R) fuel catalyst system on its off-road equipment varying in sump capacity from 15 - 50 gallons of oil. This is a result of a year-long joint test conducted by a major international oil company, using off-road equipment provided by the building and construction materials company, puraDYN and Rentar Environmental Systems, Inc. Data presented at the conclusion of the test showed that the puraDYN system significantly and safely extended oil drain intervals, and the Rentar fuel catalyst system, coupled with the puraDYN system, reduced fuel consumption by 5% - 6%. Studies by other off-road customers show extended engine overhauls up to 40%.
A spokesperson for the construction materials company said, "Being able to reduce our requirement for fuel and engine oil has greatly offset the impact of the unprecedented price increases of these commodities."
Richard C. Ford, Chief Executive Officer, puraDYN, added, "While we were fully confident in the performance of the puraDYN system based on past performance, we were all impressed by the evaluation results. Using only one of the individual test elements would have provided this company a solid bottom-line savings, but with the combination of the puraDYN system used in conjunction with the Rentar system, we've been able to provide something no one else in the industry, to our knowledge, has been able to do - a complete technology 'solution.' We offer a solution covering all concerns, current and impending, with regard to fuel and oil consumption as well as costs. Additionally, our products preserve the quality of the engine oil and generate a significant reduction in harmful pollutant emissions into the environment."
