Summit Racing Equipment

Expands SCCA Contingency Program

TALLMADGE, Ohio (Dec. 16, 2005) - Now, even more competitors on the SCCA
Club Racing National circuit can earn valuable contingency money from
Summit Racing Equipment. The Tallmadge, Ohio-based company has added
three more classes to its Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Club Racing
contingency program and has expanded its lineup of contingency items for
2006.

Summit Racing Equipment now offers cash contingency payouts to racers in
the E Production, Showroom Stock B, and Showroom Stock C classes. In
addition, the company will once again offer contingency to competitors
in the A Sedan, Touring 1, Touring 2, and GT-1 classes.

Racers in each of the seven eligible classes can now choose from an
expanded selection of contingency items, which now includes the entire
line of Summit brand products. The Summit brand lineup includes hundreds
of high-quality parts, accessories, and performance-related items.

To earn a cash payout from Summit Racing, SCCA competitors must win or
runner-up with any Summit brand product while displaying two Summit
Racing Equipment contingency decals on their vehicle. Payouts are $100
for first place, $75 for second place, $50 for third place, and $25 for
fourth place.

"The SCCA circuit offers an exciting brand of racing, and we're looking
forward to expanding our involvement in it," Kirk Heinbuch, Summit
Racing Equipment Motorsports and Events Manager, said. "It's a great
opportunity to support some of today's factory hot rods and an excellent
way to increase exposure for our line of high-quality Summit brand
products."

accessories, Summit Racing Equipment offers the largest selection,
lowest prices, and best customer service in the high performance
industry. The company is headquartered in Tallmadge, Ohio with retail
