Gamel Donates Use of $138,000 Motorhome for a Special Christmas Wish

CHICO, Calif.--Dec. 1, 20056, 2005--Dan Gamel's Chico RV Center is donating the use of a Pace Arrow Motorhome valued at $138,000 to Lance Utterback and his family for what may be their final vacation together. Lance, an officer of the Chico Police Department, has cancer and his wish is to take his children to Disneyland. Accompanied by two fellow officers who will be doing the driving, Lance and his family will leave for their 7 day vacation to Disneyland on December 18.

The Chief of Police, the Mayor of Chico, as well as media personalities from Channel 12 and the Chico Enterprise Record will be present as Lance and his family pick up the RV they will be traveling in. In addition to the $138,000 RV, Dan Gamel's RV Centers will also be presenting Lance and his family with a check for $500 to help aid in the expenses of the trip.

"We're so grateful to be able to help Officer Lance in his request for a family vacation, after all, our business is about families," says company president Wayne Barnes. "We hope this is a Christmas that they can treasure in their memories for the rest of their lives, and knowing that we were a part of that is a huge blessing to our whole team." He continues, "To Lance and his family, our hearts are with you. Merry Christmas and God Bless America."
