Harris Captures Focus Championship

Moorpark,  Calif. -  (December 15, 2005) Ringers Gloves  employee and Ringers 
racer Alex Harris brought home his first career United  States Auto Club 
(USAC) Ford Focus Pavement Championship. 
In 2005, Harris dabbled in both the Ford Focus pavement and dirt series’  in 
California.  He had a combined total of eight wins,  four coming on pavement 
and four on dirt. 
Harris, 27, also picked up the Earl’s Fast Qualifier points championship  for 
obtaining the most quick times throughout the season, as well as 14 top  five’
s and three top-10 finishes. 
Harris not only captured the pavement championship, but he piloted his  No. 
54 TCR/Ringers Gloves/Quality Communities Homes/West Valley Grinding Focus  
midget to second place in the dirt points chase. 
Harris is no stranger to USAC championships.  His 2005 accolade will be taken 
back to  his home in Simi Valley,  Calif., and added to his two USAC  TQ 
Midget championships he earned in the 1990s.
