Employers Direct Insurance Company Enhances Its Policyholder Claims and Information Center (PCIC) Capabilities

AGOURA HILLS, Calif.--Dec. 1, 20053, 2005--Employers Direct Insurance Company today announced a major enhancement to its On-Line Policy and Claims Information Center ("PCIC") previously launched on January 5, 2004. Effective January 1, 2005, EDIC's policyholders will be able to view their policy and claims information over a secure Internet portal in real time and print their complete loss runs at the touch of a button.

The enhanced PCIC features several important benefits for EDIC policyholders:

(1) Control-PCIC empowers the policyholder with up-to-date and extensive claim information so they can be interactive in real time with their EDIC team as they manage their business operations;

(2) Time/Cost Savings-PCIC eliminates the need for most of the phone inquiries and call backs between carriers and the policyholders about the status of claims and loss runs;

(3) Convenience-When combined with the online "First Report of Injury" reporting service that EDIC allows it policyholders, PCIC makes the day-to-day interaction with policyholder almost completely electronic; and,

(4) Real time information- EDIC policyholders will never incur the inconvenience and frustration of out-dated loss runs. PCIC assures EDIC policyholders that the information they view will always be current.
