#10 FreedomRoads Ford & John Andretti Ready for 2006 Season

MOORESVILLE, NC ; With their eyes on a championship,
FreedomRoads, along with partner Camping World, are happy to announce their
sponsorship of the #10 ppc Racing Ford for 28 NASCAR Busch Series races in 2006.
The 2006 season marks FreedomRoads and Camping World’s first full-time
Motorsports endeavor. With camping at the racetrack becoming more and more
popular, FreedomRoads and Camping World see this sponsorship as a way to reach their
 customers on common ground.
“FreedomRoads and Camping World are very excited about entering the
motorsports industry and expanding the awareness of both the RV industry and what our
two companies have to offer,?? said FreedomRoads Chairman and CEO, Marcus
Lemonis. “Our companies have always strived to be one step ahead of our competition
in the RV industry and this venture is no different. For that reason we chose
a primary sponsorship with ppc Racing’s #10 Ford.
Partnered with Camping World, the world's largest retailer of RV and camping
accessories, supplies and services, FreedomRoads will launch a multi-faceted
marketing campaign that will serve as sponsor of the #10 Ford. Keeping details
under wraps until the kick-off of the 2006 season, FreedomRoads and Camping
World plan to take the RV/Motorsports industry by storm.
To accomplish that feat, Veteran driver John Andretti and experienced ppc
Racing crew chief, Rick Gay, were selected to lead the #10 team. Andretti has
amassed wins in nearly every competitive racing series and plans to add a
Busch series win in 2006 to his list of accomplishments.
“I have a lot to look forward to this year,?? John Andretti explained. "I'm
excited to compete in the Busch Series. My previous experience in Nextel
cup gives me great confidence that we will make a strong impression in 2006.
ppc Racing is a championship team and with FreedomRoads and Camping World
behind me, we are capable of running strong and competing with the best of them.
??
Rick Gay has his own experience as part of a winning team. Gay previously
served as crew chief in the Busch Series from 2001-2004, including a season as
crew chief for ppc Racing driver Kenny Wallace. Spending two seasons as crew
chief in the Craftsman Truck Series, Gay most recently led the #10 Ford Power
Stroke Diesel by International team for ppc Racing.
“I have a tremendous amount of confidence in the ability of John Andretti to
pilot our #10 Freedom Roads sponsored race car,?? said ppc Racing owner, Greg
Pollex. “John possesses a great deal of knowledge about the race car and
his experience on and off the race track will greatly enhance the Freedom Roads
program. Rick Gay was selected as the crew chief for his leadership skills
and open minded approach to racing. Rick’s chassis and aero knowledge will
ensure our race cars will be competitive with John behind the wheel.??
