Chrysler Group Establishes Sales Records with November 2005 Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV) Sales
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 7, 2005 -- Chrysler Group reported that its Five Star dealers sold a new November record of 8,600 Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles (CPOV), an increase of 5 percent over November 2004 sales of 8,189 units and a 6 percent increase over October 2005 sales. Record year-to-date sales amounted to 97,353 units for 2005, an increase of 8 percent over year-to-date sales last year.
Chrysler brand leads the group with a 6 percent increase over November 2004, posting sales of 2,565 units. Dodge sales increased 3 percent to 4,032 units. Jeep(R) brand sales declined 3 percent to 2,003 units; however, year- to-date sales are up 6 percent for the brand.
"Rising consumer confidence and favorable gas prices helped CPOV sales in November," said Ray Fisher, Chrysler Group Vice President - Sales, Service and Parts Operations. "Consumers get more bang for their buck when they buy Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge CPOV products at our Five Star dealerships and our sales reflect that."

Approximately 2,400 Chrysler Group dealerships in the U.S. are certified Five Star dealers.
