UPDATE: Homeless Man Saves Driver Of Mercedes - And Gets Nothing
Posted by www.eMercedesBenz.com on December 5, 2005 at 9:35 AM CST As I'm sure you all know by now, last week we brought you a story about Derrick Lee Pack, the homeless man who saved the life of a crash victim (If you didn't read the initial story, you can find it at the following link: http://emercedesbenz.com/ Dec05/02HomelessManSavesDriver.html We wanted to update the story and let you all know exactly where we're at. We've been in contact with Richard Charan, the journalist from the Trinidad and Tobago Express that originally ran the story about Derrick. He's meeting with Derrick today, and we're working together to figure out the best way to get Derrick any donations or items we receive. To everyone that wishes to donate, we hope to have specific instructions on where to send items or donations within the next day or two. Thanks to everyone that's already contacted us regarding the story, we'll be sure to keep you updated as soon as we we make further progress.
