Proficiency and CENIT Forge Sales Alliance and Technology Partnership

Sales Agent Agreement for Germany, Austria and Switzerland Designed to Boost Benefit of Proficiency's Enterprise Interoperability Software

Under Partnership CENIT Will Develop Technology Designed to Integrate Proficiency's Collaboration Gateway with mySAP PLM Solution

Proficiency, a global provider of enterprise interoperability software and CENIT AG Systemhaus, a global IT consulting company, have entered into a sales agent agreement. CENIT will introduce Proficiency's Collaboration Gateway(TM), a feature-based CAD interoperability software, to its DACH (German, Austrian, Swiss) client base, offering related support and services for the solution. This agreement extends Proficiency's go-to-market strategy in the diverse European market. Proficiency will be working extensively with major design and product lifecycle management (PLM) companies in order to meet increasing customer demand for bridging incompatible development environments.

Furthermore, Proficiency and CENIT signed a technology partnership agreement where CENIT will develop technology designed to integrate Proficiency's Collaboration Gateway with SAP's mySAP(TM) PLM solution. "This agreement is an important milestone in Proficiency's goal of integrating design intelligence extracted from CAD models to enterprise information systems. The Collaboration Gateway is a Web-based, feature-level CAD interoperability software application that facilitates the sharing of product design information, including features, history, constraints, assembly structure, dimensions, and metadata throughout the extended product lifecycle process. This strategic product development innovation leads OEMs and suppliers in the automotive, aerospace/defense, and heavy equipment industries to significantly shorten design cycles, decrease time-to-market, and lower design costs. The Collaboration Gateway enables companies to exchange native parametric CAD models between Dassault Systems CATIA(R) V4 and CATIA(R) V5, PTC's Pro/ENGINEER(R) and Pro/ENGINEER(R) Wildfire(TM), and UGS' Unigraphics(R) NX and I-deas(R) NX Series.
