Mercedes-Benz USA's November Sales Figures

It's the beginning of the month, and by now I'm sure you all know  
what that means - it's time for, drum roll please, Mercedes'  
financial news.  Please, hold your applause.

First up is Mercedes-Benz of USA, who is reporting sales of 18,284  
new vehicles for the month of November.  This brings MBUSA's year-to- 
date total sales to 192,877 units.

As has been the case in previous months, the M-Class continued to  
show strong momentum for the month of November with 2,980 units being  
sold - an increase of 27.5 percent over last year.  The R-Class gave  
MBUSA an added boost in the light truck category, selling 1,213 units  
in its second full month on the market.

In the passenger car segment, the C-Class was this month's big  
winner, selling 4,858 units.  Next up was the always-stable E-Class,  
coming in with 3,884 units being sold.

And finally, to round out this month's sales figures, we have to take  
note of the entire Mercedes' coupe lineup - current year-to-date  
sales have reached 21,304 in 2005, a 24 percent (4,142 units)  
increase over the same time last year.

Separately, the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle program  
posted November sales of 3,095 units, bringing the ytd total to 40,420.

Mercedes-Benz USA Records 18, 284 New Vehicle Sales in November

MONTVALE, N.J., Dec. 1

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today reported sales of 18,284 new vehicles  
in November, bringing the year to-date total sales to 192,877.

In the luxury light truck segment, the M-Class continued its strong  
momentum in the market with 2,980 new vehicles, a 27.5 percent  
increase over November 2004. In addition, the R-Class Grand Sports  
Tourer recorded sales of 1,213 units in November, its second full  
month on the market since launching in mid-September, bringing total  
sales for Mercedes-Benz luxury light trucks to 4,317 new vehicles,  
including 124 G-Class. Mercedes-Benz luxury light truck sales have  
reached 2005 year-to-date sales of 33,360, an increase of 8,819 units  
or a 35.9 percent over year-to-date 2004.

Passenger cars sales totaled 13,967 new vehicles, with the C-Class  
leading the way at 4,858 units, followed by the popular E-Class with  
sales of 3,884. Coupes posted 21,304 year-to-date sales for 2005,  
which represents a 24 percent increase (4,142 units) over year-to- 
date 2004.

Separately, the Mercedes Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle program  
reported November sales of 3,095 units, bringing the year-to date  
total to 40,420.

by setting the highest sales volume in its history with 221,610 new  
vehicle sales and expects to continue the momentum with another
