Mazda North American Operations and Proxicom Announce Redesign of MazdaUSA.com

RESTON, Va.--Nov. 3, 20050, 2005--Proxicom, Inc., a leading Internet consulting firm, and Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announce the redesign of MazdaUSA.com to appeal to a wider variety of consumers and offer an improved online experience.

MazdaUSA.com showcases a stylish new design, improved navigation, enhanced usability, and faster loading pages. With the new design MNAO intends to reach a more diverse customer base, necessary to reflect their evolving brand image and expanding line of automobiles.

Working closely with MNAO, their advertising agency and other third party firms, Proxicom has implemented solutions for Mazda that enhance the automotive consumers' online experience as well as assist in moving the consumer through various stages of the shopping process and ultimately to a dealership. For MazdaUSA.com Proxicom has improved on their previous implementation, which included a nationwide dealer inventory search, configurator, owners site and loyalty programs, and the design of an innovative lead generation system.

MNAO recently renewed their partnership with Proxicom who will continue to provide Web development, design and strategic consulting services for the North American arm of Mazda. Proxicom began work on the account in 2002 and since that time MazdaUSA.com has seen incremental growth in the number of site visitors and leads generated. The website currently delivers roughly 30,000 leads per month to dealerships across the country.
