Industry Experts Forecast Economic Trends for Coming Year; Detroit Economic Club hosts 40th Annual Economic Outlook Meeting Mon., Dec. 5
DETROIT, Nov. 30, 2005 -- On Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, the Detroit Economic Club (DEC) will host its 40th Annual Economic Outlook Meeting to provide a platform for industry experts to forecast economic trends likely in the coming new year. The discussion will take place at noon at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit, One Washington Blvd. A press gathering will immediately follow.
Many business leaders are expected to attend the meeting and tune in to the panel's projections concerning Michigan's economy as well as the health of the American economy overall.
"Our annual economic outlook meeting is one of the most important meetings of the year," DEC President Beth Chappell said. "Its importance lies in the unique opportunity for our members to hear from industry experts as they look ahead."

The economic outlook meeting provides a forum for the business community to examine certain economic indicators that may suggest what is in store for 2006.
