Media Advisory: EPA to Co-Sponsor Clean-Diesel Workshop in Columbus, Ohio

  WHAT:   U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 Midwest Clean Diesel
          Initiative will co-sponsor a one-day informational hands-on
          workshop designed to provide answers to questions about diesel
          retrofit emission control technologies, idle-reduction
          technologies and clean fuels.  Other sponsors are Ohio EPA, Ohio
          Department of Transportation, Central Ohio Clean Fuels Coalition
          and Ohio Environmental Council.

  WHO:    Cheryl Newton, deputy director, EPA Region 5 Air and Radiation
          Division; Joe Koncelik, director, Ohio EPA; Gordon Proctor,
          director, Ohio Department of Transportation and other officials of
          the sponsoring organizations.  Also participating are academic
          experts, fuel producers and technology vendors.
