Contact: Diana Rose 707-933-3918 Karts Take to Infineon Raceway Road Course, Nov. 26 What: More than 150 karters will descend upon Infineon Raceway for the Northern California Karters (NCK) Regional season finale. When: Saturday, Nov. 26. Where: Infineon Raceway, Highways 37 and 121, Sonoma, Calif. 95476 (800-870-RACE or www.infineonraceway.com <http://www.searspoint.com/> ). The circuit is a 12-turn, 2.52-mile road course. Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 26: Practice, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.; Heat Races, 10:45 a.m.- noon; Main events, 1 p.m.-4 p.m. All main events will be timed, 20-minute races. What to Expect: The one-day event will feature competition in 30 racing classes, including the premier 250cc SuperKarts, which will reach speeds up to 125 mph on the road course. Other top classes featured include 125cc Shifter karts and a variety of Sprint kart classes. This is the only annual karting event featured on the world-famous Infineon Raceway road course each year. About NCK: NCK is based in San Rafael and features an eight-race schedule in 2005, with events in California and Nevada. This event will be the 2005 season finale and class champions will be crowned.
