Johnson Controls Files 8-K Regarding Historical Financial Information
MILWAUKEE, Nov. 21, 2005 -- Johnson Controls today announced in an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it will file amended financial statements. The amendments have no impact on the company's net income, earnings per share or financial position as previously reported.

The amendments involve the historical consolidation of a North American joint venture (deconsolidated in 2005) and the provision of a financial footnote involving inter-company debt guarantees between Johnson Controls, Inc. and certain of its wholly-owned subsidiaries.
