Automation Alley To Host Superhighway To Success: Pathways For The 21st Century At The Pontiac Silverdome
WHAT: Automation Alley, Oakland County and Oakland Schools are paving the pathway for the future workforce through Superhighway to Success: Career Pathways for the 21st Century. This mega-career fair that connects businesses, educators and students is designed to inform students in grades 8-12 of immediate and future career opportunities as well as provide information on the skills, education, and experiences necessary for these careers. This event will feature more than 80 company booths divided into the six Michigan career pathways: arts and communication; business, management, marketing and technology; engineering, manufacturing and industrial technology; health sciences; human services; and natural resources and agriscience. WHO: Ken Rogers, executive director, Automation Alley and other executives will be available for on-site interviews from 10 a.m. to noon.
