Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation to Present Bethanna $10,000 Grant
WHAT: $10,000 Check Presentation to Bethanna to support Project STAT WHEN: Tuesday, November 15, 2005 - 11:00 a.m. WHERE: Bethanna, 1030 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA DETAILS: Project STAT provides support group meetings that encourage teens to build self-esteem, develop life skills and form personal relationships with peers and foster parents. Bethanna is a non- profit agency providing services for children and families. Bethanna has reached out to abused, neglected and medically needy children in the Delaware Valley for over 70 years. To date, the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP) has contributed over $2.5 million to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation has renewed their support of the Hospital with a $2 million, six-year pledge to support the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Patient Welcome Center in the Richard D. Wood Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center, the Hospital's Duct Busters program and the Trisomy 21 Center for Down Syndrome. Upon completion of this pledge, total giving will exceed $4.5 million.
The Foundation also supports other programs benefiting the lives and welfare of children in the Delaware Valley including the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Bethany, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Drueding Center/Project Rainbow, EconomicsPennsylvania's "Strive to Drive" Program, Gilda's Club of the Delaware Valley and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Protege Program.
