LendingTree Acquires Outstanding Stake of LendingTree Settlement Services From Wachovia's GreenLink

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 10, 2005 -- LendingTree(R), LLC announced today it has acquired the remaining stake in LendingTree Settlement Services, LLC (LTSS) from Wachovia's GreenLink, LLC.

LendingTree and GreenLink created LTSS as a joint venture in 2004. GreenLink supplies a range of national real estate settlement services such as appraisals, title searches, title insurance, closings and flood certifications to Wachovia's consumer lending and servicing units.

LTSS provides real estate-secured settlement services that enable lenders and real estate agents to offer consumers competitive prices on title, appraisal, flood and closing services. This simplifies the process of closing loans by streamlining settlement activities and reducing last-minute closing emergencies.
