Airbee Wireless Announces ZigBee(TM) Platform Compliance

ROCKVILLE, Md.--Nov. 8, 2005--Airbee Wireless (OTC:ABEW) announced today that it has secured ZigBee Platform Compliance using the Airbee-ZNS stack product and the Chipcon radio.

The certification now enables Airbee customers and partners to rapidly build and deploy ZigBee compliant products based on this platform.

OEMs developing applications with the Airbee-ZNS software and Chipcon radio can now be confident that their products are interoperable and compliant with other ZigBee compliant platforms.

"Having the Airbee stack product successfully used in a ZigBee compliant platform is something we have worked towards for several years," commented Raj Sundaresan, CEO of Airbee Wireless, Inc. "Companies ready to implement ZigBee technology can use Airbee's hardware independent software products along with their choice of microcontrollers, radios or integrated modules to bring their own ZigBee platforms to market quickly and seek compliance knowing we have already achieved compliance with our software products in combination with the Chipcon Radio."

Bob Heile, Chairman of the ZigBee Alliance, added, "Airbee's successful use of its stack in a ZigBee compliant platform further validates the competitive advantage of ZigBee technology and opens the door for more ZigBee compliant platforms in the market."

The certification culminates nearly two years' worth of extensive interoperability testing that Airbee underwent with other Alliance members developing ZigBee platforms and with TUV Rheinland, one of the ZigBee Alliance official test houses.

In addition to Airbee's ZigBee "Compliant Platform," Airbee also provides the application development and support services necessary to build and deploy OEM's products. Airbee is acknowledged as a ZigBee software leader and can help OEMs complete their product development while delivering critical value-added services.

ZigBee software engineering is a very specialized discipline. At Airbee, we focus on ZigBee software engineering for original equipment manufacturers, semiconductor vendors, module companies and large-end users.
