'And Still We Rise ... ' Detroit's Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History Unveils New DaimlerChrysler Hall

* $1 million gift awarded to Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History by the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund used to complete the largest exhibit area in the museum

* DaimlerChrysler executives to unveil the new DaimlerChrysler Hall Nov. 10, 2005, exhibiting African American progress from the 1400s to present day

WHAT: DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund awarded Detroit's Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History a $1 million gift to support completion of the museum's largest exhibit area, now named the DaimlerChrysler Hall.

The DaimlerChrysler Hall, a multi-level, 20,000-square-foot exhibit named "And Still We Rise: Our Journey Through African American History and Culture," exhibits the progress of African Americans from the 1400s to present day.

A reception will be held at the museum to commemorate the unveiling of DaimlerChrysler Hall, named in honor of the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund's significant support of the museum.
